Dreambeans’ newest blend, Jaggy Loko has won a 2 STAR Great Taste Award. The Great Taste Awards are the most prestigious awards in food and drink and they are very keenly contested each year. Two gold stars is a great achievement.The judging is organised by the Guild of Fine Foods and the judging is blind and anonymous. The judges never know which brand or product they’re tasting. This is the second Dreambeans to win a two star Great taste Award, Sweet Sorrento won two stars last year.

The Great Taste Judges described Jaggy Loko as follows: 

Jaggy Loko: Good looking beans, individual varieties appear to have been roasted separately. We tasted it as espresso and then with milk and the rich fruitiness is suddenly fully developed. Such a good chocolatey, malted biscuit finish. Well done. You sat down to create a great flat white and that is exactly what you’ve done.  2 STARS

Jaggy Loko was originally introduced as a short run “coffee of the month” but it was so successful in coffee shops and cafes that we secured a year-round supply of the constituent beans and we can now offer it to home users. We’re delighted that it has been recognised this way.
