Bialetti Moka Pot

By |2021-08-22T17:59:52+00:00August 5th, 2021|

Bialetti Moka Pot. The Bialetti Moka Pot is one of our favourite ways to make coffee and it’s great for home users. The coffee you make won't be quite as strong as the espresso from a top grade espresso machine but it is much stronger than coffee from a percolator or coffee from a French press and it has great flavour and a lovely texture if you make it right.  Coffee for two I particularly like the six cup Moka Pot because it Read More [...]

Affogato. A great coffee dessert

By |2021-07-26T22:56:38+00:00July 26th, 2021|

The best coffee dessert: affogato If you like coffee and do you like ice cream you're going to love affogato. It's an Italian dessert made with coffee and ice cream and it is the simplest thing in the whole world to make and it's absolutely perfect for a hot sunny afternoon or for dessert on a summer evening. Aggogato means “drowning” in Italian and it is so named because the expresso coffee drowns the ice cream in the glass or bowl. Great Read More [...]

Hand-picked, hand-roasted, and hands-down the best cup of coffee.

By |2022-02-13T20:06:38+00:00July 4th, 2021|

Hand-made, Hand-roasted, Hand-painted. We love these hand-painted videos that Caoimhe O'Dwyer has made for Dreambeans. There's a whole series of them, which we'll be rolling out over the next while. We love this low-tech, hand-made way of making video. It really chimes with our approach to making coffee. Artisan Coffee We do things a little slower here at Dreambeans. We take more time roasting coffee than any coffee roaster we know. Nearly all our coffees are blends, Read More [...]

A bright spot in every day, something to look forward to, somewhere to meet people outdoors and have a chat Read More [...]
