Fastway Couriers: a big thank you from Dreambeans Coffee

Since the very beginning of Dreambeans Coffee, Fastway Couriers have been delivering our coffee. We built our business around getting freshly roasted coffee to customers quickly, and Fastway helped us do just that. Week after week, the Fastway team made sure orders were collected on time, handled carefully, and delivered efficiently all across Ireland. It’s something we’ve never taken for granted.

From the start, the level of service has been consistently good. Deliveries arrived promptly, tracking updates were clear, and if a customer needed a hand with a redelivery or special instruction, Fastway could usually sort it out without fuss. This reliability meant a lot to us. It meant that we could focus on roasting, blending, and packing great coffee, confident that it would reach people just as fresh as it left us.

I want to give a special mention to everyone in the Northeast depot. They’ve been a credit to the company, professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Whether it was collecting an urgent order, something gone astray (it’s inevitable, occasionally), or just keeping us updated during the busy Christmas rush, they were always on the ball. The same can be said for the drivers we’ve worked with and the wider Fastway network. It’s clear there’s a strong team spirit running through the whole operation.

We hope a solution can be found.

We know that Fastway is now in receivership and that discussions are continuing around a possible solution. We can only imagine how uncertain this time must feel for everyone involved. From our side, we want to wish the team well in those talks and hope that a positive outcome can be found. It would be great to see the jobs saved, the routes continuing, and the people who kept things running so well finding a restructured format that works for everyone involved.

Whatever happens next, we want to say thank you. Fastway have been an important partner here at Dreambeans Coffee, and we really appreciate the hard work, care, and reliability they’ve always shown to us and our customers.
